Website is live and snowboarding photos

The last 2 weeks have been insane for my business.  In the midst of proofing the website, working out all the glitches and photo editing my customers pictures came an oopportunity of a lifetime...  4 fellow MRU photography students along with myself were invited to photograph the 2011 LG Snowboard World Cup Feb 24-26th.  Wow..... Spectacular view points, photo opps, and educational experience.  Standing on a ski jump in -32 degrees weather with the wind howling, fingers frozen, and boarders jumping 3 feet from you!!!  Now that is incredible!  Then after all the fun of taking the 2700+ pictures came the daunting task of editing for Snowboard Canada's website.  www.canadasnowboard.smugmug.com
Even more intense than the snowboarding shoot though was the birth of my website!  Aleesha from www.galacticwebsites.com designed and delivered an incredible website for Di Cozart Photography.  She listened to my every wish and made them all come alive.  Please check out the website for updates and a taste of my photography style.  www.dicozartphotography.com.

Backdrops and Friends

Before the weather was too cold and the snow appeared, I was given the opportunity to shoot a very special Family sitting.  The backdrop was a 100 + year old barn on the family farm site.  The "S" family were wonderful to work with having lots of laugh and trying many different poses from on the ground to the hayloft.  It was a double blessing though having such grandeur architecture, workmanship, and history as the backdrop.

First of many to come

The anticipation and editing that goes along with any new business is such a personal experience.  What will others think, will they like my product,  will they like my style.??????  All questions that leave you vulnerable and open to other opinions.  Then post it all on a website for not only perspective clients, but all of the world to see.... Wow.  "Remember to exhale", says the voice in my head often.
Now that I have exhaled, let me say I am so excited to share my take on the world of lifestyle photography.
Please be patient with me as I learn all the ways of the social network, You may even find it entertaining.  lol
